The Conjuring Universe owned and produced by Warner Bros. Entertainment.

Loosely based on a collection of real-life cases, the universe of The Conjuring is a spooky combination of standalone entertainment and a connected cinematic experiences. Often told in the orbit of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a pair of real-life paranormal investigators, the films of The Conjuring Universe combine horror, drama, and a touch of comedy to create some genuinely frightening experiences.

For the most part the movies in The Conjuring Universe can be watched in any order you like, and release date is the way to go. That said, there's a strong chronology at work in several of the films - particularly those of the Annabelle trilogy - that rewards viewers who decide to follow the timeline.

Included in this list is The Curse of La Llorona, which is not officially a part of The Conjuring Universe. Despite this fact one of the characters was in a Conjuring Universe movie, and even references said movie in his dialogue. Given that The Curse of La Llorona is a standalone story, whether or not you watch it as part of the larger cinematic universe is up to you.
