Star Wars owned and produced by Lucasfilm Ltd.
Set in a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars is a massive, sprawling sci-fi franchise of no little renown. Pioneered by director George Lucas and consisting of movies, television shows, books, video games and more, Star Wars is a complex, sometimes convoluted outer space soap opera with ample doses of mysticism, military strategy, family problems, and super weapons.
Given the great deal of overlap in the events of these movies and shows - as well as the general lack of dating - it can be difficult to place some of these entries on a concrete timeline. Andor and Rebels, for example, happen more or less concurrently at times, so there's no simple way to tell which comes before which. Use your best judgement when deciding which to watch first. (Though my suggestion is to go by release date.)
In-Universe Chronological Order
A number of Star Wars movies and shows have been deemed non-canonical as of Star Wars' current timeline. They have been included under Release Order only. This list does not include the many books and comics of the Star Wars universe, as they would take up waaaaay too much space - and many of them have been deemed non-canonical. These will receive their own page.
