 The Son of Sparda is coming, and all will quake under the might of his guns. The story of Dante, a demon slayer of considerable skill (and no small amount of wit), Devil May Cry is a combat-heavy action franchise dealing in otherworldly monsters, and how best to bring them down. Usually this involves big swords, lengthy combos, and a lot of button mashing.

The Devil May Cry universe was briefly rebooted in DMC: Devil May Cry. There is only one game in this rebooted universe, so it and its story DLC are ony included under Release Order. This is also the case for several mobile games, which are considered 'alternate universe' releases. Not included are several apps, such as a pachinko game, that are not action games.
